Rothenburg ob der Tauber is known for its charming medieval streets and beautiful doors. Each door has its own unique style, with colorful paint and interesting designs that give the town character. You’ll see everything from pretty floral patterns to bold shapes, making every entrance feel special. As you walk along the cobblestone streets, these doors make you wonder about the stories behind them, adding to the town's fairy-tale vibe. It was a true joy to capture the beauty of the town through my camera, exploring every corner with my 14-42mm kit lens, which was perfect for the wide views. In Rothenburg, one of my favorite spots is Teddyland, the cutest little shop dedicated entirely to teddy bears. The moment you step inside, you’re greeted by a magical world filled with cuddly bears of all shapes and sizes. On Sunday afternoon, my mother and I decided to head up Gellért Hill and take a stroll around the 11th district. I brought along my M.Zuiko 45mm f/1.8 lens to capture the beauty of the autumn colors. From the top of the hill, the view was just stunning, and even though it was pretty cold, with our hats and scarves on, the walk felt really pleasant. The Citadella is still under renovation, but the Liberty Statue might soon be visible without scaffolding. The setting sun reflected off the Liberty (Szabadság) and Elizabeth (Erzsébet) bridges, and the clouds turned all kinds of colors. The Mol Campus stood out against the skyline, and I could even spot the giant Ferris wheel in the distance. I arrived at my chosen location a little earlier than planned – the iconic Buda Castle. After a quick look around and selecting the perfect spot, I set up my tripod and waited for the magic to happen, ready to capture the Blue Hour. Even though I’ve visited many cities around the world, there’s something truly special about the view of Budapest’s skyline that I never seem to tire of. I love watching the boats on the Danube, the Budapest Eye at Erzsébet Square, and the BalloonFly in City Park – all of which have become an integral part of the city’s landscape. As a photography lover, I’m always on the lookout for lenses that offer unique perspectives and creative possibilities. That's why I added the Samyang 8mm f/3.5 Fisheye lens to my collection, and while I don’t carry it everywhere, it never fails to impress me with its performance when I do use it. I bought it secondhand, and it arrived in almost perfect condition. It’s quickly become one of my favorite tools for shooting urban architecture, and I’ve captured some truly striking images with it. The fisheye lens is all about dramatic, wide-angle distortion. Despite being a manual focus lens, I’ve found it incredibly easy to work with, and the results speak for themselves. One of the first things I noticed was its slightly yellowish color cast. As the crisp air of autumn sets in and the first signs of winter approach, I always feel the pull to prepare my garden for the seasonal visitors I've come to cherish. For several years now, I've been creating a welcoming space for birds by setting up feeders and offering food to help them through the colder months. This simple act of kindness has transformed my garden into a hub of activity, with different species of birds coming and going throughout the winter. Every year, I place food in numerous bird feeders scattered around the garden. I fill them with a variety of seeds, and I always make sure to include black sunflower seeds- birds seem to especially love these. I also hang suet balls for smaller birds like sparrows and finches, which are quick to find their way to the suet when the weather turns chilly. The sound of birdsong in the early morning, along with the flutter of wings as they quickly drop down to grab a bite, is one of the highlights of my day. The diversity of...

Creativity often manifests in unexpected ways. I find inspiration all around me, constantly seeking new opportunities to blend art, color, and texture. Last year, I embarked on a project that felt truly unique  –  a fusion of photography, painting, and the dynamic interplay of colors.  The idea for this experiment with oil bubbles was inspired by the colorful works of Hungarian artist Aladár Almásy and my passion for macro photography. I aimed to combine his colorful artwork with my own photographic approach, focusing on the role of color and texture in the creative process. To begin, I placed an image of one of Almásy’s striking paintings underneath a large, clear container filled with water. This way, the image stayed dry and untouched, while I introduced a few drops of oil, which immediately floated on the water and began to form delicate bubbles.
